ABOUT US

Chimera: Our troupe name comes from Greek mythology. The Chimera was a fire-breathing female creature composed of the parts of three animals - a lion, a snake and a goat.

Our roots are in tribal belly dancing, where a group dance together, in harmony, as one, yet still each individual expresses her own personality. So, as a group, we are a kind of Chimera, although we are sure you will be pleased to know we do not breathe fire (most of the time).
